Just a guy with a 3D printer a dream…

What do you get when you mix a little creativity, the magic of 3D printing, and an unhealthy obsession with classic pro wrestling? You get this website, and its mission to bring the toys you always wanted into existence. Like many other young fans who grew up during the 1980s-90s golden era of wrestling, my brother and I would often cobble together cages and other various arena components for our Hasbro WWF figures using whatever parts and pieces we could find lying around the house. What the toymakers failed to supply, we made up for with imagination! Now, thanks to 3D printing technology, I am helping to make those unfulfilled childhood wishes come true for wrestling collectors who always wondered what it might be like if Hasbro had given us a cage, a Barber Shop set, or even those awesome ring entrance carts! My mission with Wrecollect is to transport you to an ‘alternate childhood,’ where the accessories and playsets you once dreamt about are now reality. Though the pieces here are geared toward adult collectors, they are designed with playability in mind. I like to think that I’ve captured what these toys might have looked like had they actually existed on the toy store shelves of our youth!
